WASHINGTON: In his first appearance at a Washington-based think tank after the Lahore and Karachi rallies, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan said on Fridaythat there was support for his party within the army.
LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan ruled out the possibility of making an alliance with the Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N), while speaking to the media in Lahore on Thursday.
The recent political hype created by a blend of multiple factors has clutched the entire Pakistani nation tight. Every party has girded up its loins and stepped into the battlefield. And so, It’s really hard to predict yet who would come out as a victor.
It is only the beginning of 2012, but one can very well predict the course this year might take, right from its very onset. If PTI’s ‘Tsunami’ and ‘Memogate issue’ shook some political thrones toward the end of 2011, it seems, this year Supreme Court is all set to clear the smoke screen and resolve the issues deliberately kept in the cold storage.
