I appreciate your steps taken against this person. But I have still one question that if he has prayed to Allah for forgivness, then is is possible for us to forgive that person and leave this matter on Allah and the judgement day.
I personally think that Amir Liaqat did a worst act he has broken my heart by using such abusive language for the Great Companions of Mohammad (SAW) but if we are getting good words and Hadith and all good things from him then again my question is that why not to listen those good things whether these are coming from such a low grade person.

I have another question. That if this video is correct (which i think is) then why top class sunni scholars join him on his program. Why Mufi-e-Azam and other Muftis from Makkah and other scholars come on his program. Does this mean that they are (like Mufti Mujeeb ur Rehman, Mufti-e-Azam Pakistan one of the regular participants) either unaware of this act or if they are aware then why they have not been told and infromed.

What Amer Liaqat said in the video is absolutely blasphemous, profane, unethical and a serious offence punishable under the Islamic Law. But I don’t like the way things are being presented by the PKColumns. Firstly why the commentator is hiding his face he should has the courage and guts to come up with an open face because he is supporting a very genuine and noble cause and there is nothing wrong in it, secondly his remarks about the Shia Community admiring his words.
Amir Liaqat is not a religious scholars, and after this video he should not be entertained any where or on any platform. This is a well planned effort to create rift between the Shia and the Sunni brothers and we must not fall prey to it and the sense must prevail while condemning it .I therefore strongly disagree with his remarks that Amir’s blasphemous words are the belief of entire Shia Community he should be wise enough while pointing it out, other wise he will be doing a job not less then the Amir did in his video and a damage to Muslim Umah

But only as far as that crime is a secreate between Allah and that person who has commited the crime. Once the crime is exposed then that person must be punished so that next time no one should dare to do such evil act. I already used to wonder why the columns of a person like Aamir Liaqat Hussain who claimed to be a “Ph.D.” with fake online degree, were hosted on pkcolumns. I must say pkcolumns woke up too late, :), but I appreciate the right decision.

Any wise person can just listen to Aamir Liaqat’s talking style for a couple of seconds and can figure out which artificial hole he is coming out of.

i m not amazed by this video. i never like Aamir Liaquat hussain coz he is not that wat he shows. he is a big drama and a sensible person can easily judge him. coz there is a too much fakeness on his face, his way of talking, his dressing, his attitude, all are cheap. he is simply a cheapster. and wat i cud say abt GEO. More than 10,000 emails have been sent to Geo TV regarding this henious act by Amir Liaqat. There were writings on the walls near Jang office to stop Amir Liaqat. There were calls made even to the Geo TV personnel, and not to forget, even people like Hamid Mir, Shahid Masood and many other people within GeoTV were shown the original video, without any editing at all. Results? The very next day, all the wall chalkings in the city were cleared by GeoTV personnel, not one single step was taken against him. Plus, no one could even do a demonstration against Amir Liaqat in Karachi.
Maybe you don’t know already, but Amir Liaqat is soon to be the owner and director of the upcoming Channel by Geo, called “Geo Islam”. So he is an asset to Geo TV , and they are doing everything to protect him.

First of all, Amir liaqat was already a disputed person and by doing this act, he confirmed it.

We as a Muslim should realize, this all has been planned by Jews, as Allah (SWT) has already said us that they are not your friend, and they are jeopardizing the peace and the Islam by various means. They are trying to change the concept of our new generation, which most of us are un-aware of (unfortunately), that is why we have these sort of thing.

We strongly condenmed this act and asked from GEO Network to BAN his program for broadcasting. As once we identified the person thoughts, before it makes big loss or threat, he should be banned, infact he should be banned for any show.

As far as his forgiveness his concern, he should ask for true forgivness with Allah (SWT), and not with us, but he should deserve punishment for this act.

Geo TV should immediately stop broadcasting Amir Liaqat’s shows as this network is very widely watched in the USA and UK and other countries where Muslims do not have adequate knowledge of Islam, especially the young lot. It’s very sad to see that Geo has actually appointed this person to spread false image of Islam throughout the world. He doesn’t look like a scholar from any angle and he should watch his tongue, which most of the time is uttering bad and false words.

We follow the path of a most educated Prophet and have to think about our own education- How many people here have done their own research on Quran and came up with a new invention based upon learning from Quran—Very few.

I seriously doubt the intentions of the person who posted this video- how many times you have insulted Rasool (PBUH) by not following his teaching … I can give you several examples where all of us insult Islam, Allah and our Rasool some examples are: when we lie, cheat, bribe, ignore poor people, harm other people, Backbiting (Like this video), Ignore wajibat (like education, looking after Family and Neighbours (muslim/nonmuslim) ) and list goes on.

In my humble opinion we have to correct ourselves first and then show our character to the world so that they see a glimpse of our Rasool in us and appreciate our action rather then our words.

Just wanted to give my comments on this but before I do that I must mention that I am neither Sheeyah nor Sunni. I am a muslim. Anyone that presents himself belonging to a cast further in Islam is a Munkir of Quran “Al Quran”. I’d request everyone here on this post and everyone muslim in this world for not to be one.

Now the first thing he said about Sahabah was absolutly wrong and that extreme effort against companions of Prophet (P.B.U.H) is punishable for those for which Quran says “May ALLAH Forigive me if words misspell/mismatch but my message won’t INSHALLAH” that “RAZIALLAH ANHO WA RAZO ANHO”. How can someone pass his own judgement when ALLAH and his Prophet (P.B.U.H) has given good news.

Amer Maiwiah on the other hand had his back turned towards Prophet (P.B.U.H) (Naoozbillah) when The Prophet (P.B.U.H) Of ALLAH (S.A.W) said (Refrence Haddes) “May ALLAH Forigive me if words misspell/mismatch but my message won’t INSHALLAH” that

“Don’t Turn your back towads me as I can smell the blood of my Family from you (that you going to shaheed my family).”

None of us today would even think of his first act that he did to our beloved Prophet (P.B.U.H)turned his back towards him. He was the one who did a lot against Islam that we today are told to believe that it was just political. Its a shame the way we are raised in our so called Islamic Mahool. Moreover his Son Yazeed made the Family of Prophet (P.B.U.H) shaheed.

Quran says that if we ignore the Orders of Prophet then we are not on the Right Path. In Nabi-e-Kareem’s last address, he said “May ALLAH Forigive me if words misspell/mismatch but my message won’t INSHALLAH” I am leaving for you Quran, Sunnah and my Family (Itrati mean Aulad). In Quran ALLAH said for Prophet that Love his Family “Muaadat Fil Qurba”. So if we suppot those who went against the Family (Our Masters “Hamaray Aaka”) then you tell me where we stand.

I can further help those who want to discuss this with me in the light of Quran and Hadees.

At this occassion I must tell u about a Hadees. I donot remember the actual words of it , but record meaning of it, you may confirm the said Hadees from any AALIM( not those who perform on AALIM ON LINE )

Hadees said that

” Any person who have BUGHZ( Jealousy) with my, and if he may not or may not be able to express his words against me , then he will express that BUGHZ with my ‘ SAHABA’ instead of me.”

It is clear form video or Amir that he had expressed his Opinion regarding Sahaba, and his opinion is clearly wrong and full of BUGHZ. In the light of quoted Hadees We may say with surety that he have actually expressed his BUGHZ for Nabi ( S.A.W ).

Further, I must say that his MAKROOH Face have Un-Veiled now. He perposely and in a very planned manner have tried to achieve the following task;

First he pretend like A PURE Muslim , AASIK-E-Rasool and Sunnee. So that people must listen and believe him blindly. Manufikeen has always behaved like this. Munaafik always pretend to be Muslim. He may perform Namaaz, have Beared according to Sunna, he may preach or teach Islam first. But always try to alter the actual teachings of islam .

After going through this video clip and the some clips from Aamir Liaqat video, following are some of my conclusions:
1- I do agree that Amir Liaqat did the wrong thing.
2- All Sahaba are respectful for all Muslims (All Shia, Suni and others are Muslims)
3- We should be very careful while talking about the respected personalities of Islam
4- But, the worst thing is done by the person who hosted this program (Amir Liaqat ka asli chehra), this person hides his own Asli Chehra. (If this guy had confidence that he is telling truth, he should not hide himself and talk in front of all. Anyways this is just my own thinking)
5- This guy, tried to play with the emotions of Muslims on the name of Islam
6- These are the people who misguide the INNOCENT Muslims, emotionalize them and put them on the way of terrorism.
7- If he (host) is a real follower of Islam and really respect the SAHABA, they he should also follow their teachings as well, and the first and most important lesson of Islam is PEACE. How easily he is showing the way of terrorism on the name of PEACE.
8- My dear brs and sis, this is very critical time on our religion. This is the time to open our eyes, ears and minds. This is the time to recognize the real FITNAS among us. This is the time to follow the real teachings of Islam. This is the time to stop other to play with our religious sentiments, and this is the time to respect the Prophet of Allah, his DEN and his teachings but actually following them in our daily life.
9- We should first adopt Islam and then ask other to adopt.
10- We have no right to enforce Islam and certainly we have no right to break rules to apply rules.
11- I request all my readers to be very careful with the people who asked us to adopt the way of terrorism on the name of Islam, because if is terrorism then it is not Islam and if it is Islam then it is not terrorism.
12- Finally, I would also request all my Muslim to show unity, forget about the division of SHIA, SUNI etc. We have no right to decide who is right and who is wrong. Only Allah knows better. If we think that one school of thought is correct we should simply follow it, we have no right to enforce others to follow, what I am following.

We live in this world and we know that every man of this world has their own concepts, these concepts can be individually, socially and relegiously and everyone thinks that might his thought is correct but it is a natural fact that it is not neccessary that everyone shouls get positive thought, being a relegious person (everyone) it is quite clear that in every relegious there are commandents, on which every religious persons try to act, and try to prove the best person of Allah (God, Bhagwan, Eshwar). I am Alhamdullillah a Muslim person and beleive that Allah is one and the Prophet Hazrat Muhammed Sallal-Lahu-Alaihe-Wassallam is the last Messanger of Allah. Being a muslim all of us well known that Allah create this all Universe and all things either live or not live in this Universe and than create His most Beautifull creature “MAN” to follow His rules.

When the Fitnaa of so called False prophets was raised in the life and after the life of Hazrat Muhammed Sallal-Lahu-Alaihe-Wasallam these followers were the shield agianst Fitnaa, and that time these Sahabas fought against the so called False prophets, why they protect the Islam as those so called false prophets beleive in one Allah? yes so called false prophets beleive in the unity of Allah but they refuse the Muhammed Sallal-Lahu-Alaihe-Wasallam as a last Prophet of Allah, and Allah help the Sahabaa and made them conqueror, why Allah did it? all of us know well that Allah protect his beloved Prophet as a “Khati-mun-Nabiyyen”, so don’t you think that we should protect to Sahabaa’s name at this time as they are the beloved people of Hazrat Muhammed Sallal-Lahu-Alaihe-Wasallam?. Don’t you think that we should be a shield against the every attack on Allah, His Prophet Muhammed Sallal-Lahu-Alaihe_wasallam and the followers?

A nation like ours where big majority of the people are too busy being emotional up to the level that they don’t have time to use their brains in order to develop some understanding towards the actual issue, these kind of responses should not be released into public eyes in a first place, Where people don’t know how to address them in a appropriate way! Specially not in eyes like ours where we read or see these sort of things and guess what happens our blood suddenly starts boiling and we lose control of our mind and finally slips from the actual way of addressing and responding to that issue appropriately. Is this what our religion teaches us? The biggest problem we face today in our society is education, not just that we need to send our kids to schools but also we need to teach them how to use their brains and being effective in these situations.
If you have a point than say it, arrange a debate, talk to the person, rather than make posters and burn them on the streets? What benefit does this behaviour going to give us or to our religion? Is this is the way our religion promotes? We have a very bad habit of taking everything as granted specially when it comes to religion, we never look for any knowledge or read and look for facts or do any research in case any conflict occurs we only believe what we have been told by our parents, by the way this also not what our religion teaches. Whenever we face any challenge like this, wether its from outside world or from within our own community we react in a way which never addresses the actual cause of the problem. What we do then? all we do is come out on roads, break and burn our buildings, naming and shaming, few pictures on the media and that’s it. Why don’t we address the issue on the same level, on which it occurred? In this instance why don’t we talk to Dr. Amir and ask him to explain the basis and reasons why he said so and if we disagree with it than surely we should come up with something which can answer his statements? We don’t ask him to prove or have a debate so we can also understand the basis why these beliefs, which we think are incorrect have developed in that person’s mind in a first place. There is a fundamental difference between us and the developed nations which is how people use their brains, and keep cool and try to address the problem on certain level rather than coming out on roads and burning our own community causing disruptions to everyone which never resulted in anything effective.
I think it’s the time that we look back and learn from what we have been doing.

Person like Amir should be totally banned from appearing on TV, not just GEO but from Pakistan Channels. They shoukd not be even invited as guest by any channel or Radio Station. This is the least of punishment that he has earned.

i have gone through the video and all the comments on vital issue of Amir Liaquat Hussain. I am not a scholar and dont think myself empower to comments on his integrity. Who can talk about the genuineness of one who spoke and commented in this video, who willfully is invisible to us. I would like to recommend first the video should be available in full no matter on youtube or anyother plateform, and i am not interested to comments about the Shiites and Sunnis gathering, as being a muslim, one can attend and address any gathering without keeping in mind favoring any specified sect. Mullah and clergy should be neutral and should act according to the doctrine narrated in Quran and Hadith, Fikah and Shariah. Facts are stubborn things, which can not be changed as per ones comments and ideas in this era. we have to watch the whole video in order to compare the sayings of Amir Liaquat first, I dont doubt that the Narrator of this video has personal biases against Amir, yet it is essential to compare and get teh true essence of his speech.

Being one nation, we are required to empower ourselves first before commenting on things which are not that much controversial, we have to throw away the essentialist views of the things and have to be constructive and practice constructionist in order to solve our own created problems and feuds. we have to start ponder now. we have to start study the history and specially critical thinking is essential to view the things ultimately. we are living in an era of information technology and communication developement, where everything is assessable to the world.

Only someone who has commited blasphemy and been purposefully disrespectful to The Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W), can not be forgiven. Other than that everyone can be forgiven. Since Amir Liaqat has asked Allah Almighty of forgiveness, we being Muslim should forgive him and let Allah decide his fate (depending upon his real intentions).
Besides this is all MQM propaganda. They are harassing him (and Geo TV) because Amir Liaqat has quit MQM. You can not just quit such a terrorist-network with all the secrets. That is why the man in the video did not show his face, although he said he was doing all this for Allah and Islam.

What he said initially was definitely Kufar but hes accepted it and the Ulama agree with the Shariah Compliance of his Toba. We should all pray for his eeman. I have not met Dr Amir Liaqat but I have heard that he has an extremely dark complexion, almost black and jus look at him at TV haveing multiple layers of that make up.
